The hybrid or 'rescue club' as it is sometimes known, has become a very useful, versatile club in many golfers' bag. From the pro to the high handicap player it is useful for full shots off the tee, shots from tight fairway and semi rough. A much easier club to use than a long iron. It can also be used around the fringe of the green for chipping. The range of lofts is wide from 17 deg. to 32 deg. (dependant on the manufacturer). They are available in steel and graphite shaft options for men - is right and left hand, and is graphite for ladies.
